Where are the brass embellishments?

A great Model but I was somewhat disappointed that the brass embellishments on the splashers were missing. These are shown on the box illustration and also mentioned in the text on the back of the box. This is a premium priced model so why were these not applied? They would make such a different to the look of this recreation of the British Empire Exhibition livery being created here.

Disappointing

Locomotive arrived well packaged, but the loco had been dispatched with three areas of compromise; overpaint on boiler, damage to tender and chips to the chimney. Not to the quality of other recent locos, which is a shame. Hopefully this was a one off? Item was returned for a refund.

Good

The model is great, but I feel it could use a refresh. The model looks and has great detail, but I feel that the model needs to be retooled. Compared to other new model, it seems a little out of date. That said the model is very smooth and really has a nice look to it, the chassis is probably one of the best that Hornby has made. I do think a little expensive, but from other venders makes it a little viable.
