SRunning track problem

I am building a layout which has a cross-over on a stretch of double track, comprising 2 points R8072. Some locos will not go over this without derailing. Any suggestions to overcome this?

Make sure the points are dead flat, using an extra pin in the centre if necessary. Also check the plastic frog is not disturbing a wheel as it rides over it. Some frogs can protrude a tad and need a gentle file down to level.

Once you are happy the track is as good as it can be, then turn your attention to each problematic loco in turn as there is lots of forum chat about derailing over points.
